About the Filmmakers

Devin DiMattia (director/producer/editor) graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2008 with a major in Film Studies. He was born in Wichita, Kansas, and moved to North Carolina in 1993. He has wanted to make movies ever since he saw 2001: A Space Odyssey at the age of 14. Before that, he wanted to be a weatherman.

More of Devin's film work can be viewed at his official website.

J. Neil Blackman (co-producer) will soon be graduating from University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a major in Creative Writing. We can all agree that he was born, and that he will die.

Daniel Rogers (co-producer) was born in Durham, North Carolina. At the age of 9, his parents gave him his first CD for Christmas, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. In 2002 he drove his truck into a ditch. His truck looked like a piece of charred foil wrapped around a grilled ear of corn. When asked what he wanted for Christmas in 2005, he replied, "socks and boxers." He thought about going to Saint Petersburg in 2011 but decided it was too cold. He will have a bachelor's degree from UNCW by Christmas 2010.

Justin Mitchell (director of photography) graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2007 with a degree in Film Studies. Aspiring to one day be a director, he is currently in pre-production for the short film Wash, Rinse, Repeat, which he co-wrote with Neil Blackman. Shooting is scheduled to begin later this winter.
